Question 1

Can you plan our Udaipur wedding while we live abroad?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — it is our specialty. We act as your local Udaipur ground team for NRI and global Indian families in the USA, UK, Canada, UAE, Australia and beyond. We run everything on your time zone: video venue tours, design presentations, digital approvals, online budget tracking and full on-ground execution, so you can plan a flawless Udaipur wedding from anywhere in the world.

Question 2

How do you handle time-zone differences when planning remotely?

Accepted Answer

We schedule every call in a slot that suits your city — early morning in India for evening in the US, or vice versa. All decisions, options and approvals are shared over shared documents and video so nothing depends on you being awake at odd hours. You always see exactly where your planning stands.

Question 3

Can you manage international guests flying into India?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We coordinate airport arrivals at Udaipur (UDR) and Delhi/Mumbai connections, room-block bookings, RSVP management, inter-hotel transfers, welcome kits, a dedicated hospitality desk and foreign-guest assistance — so guests travelling from abroad feel looked after from landing to farewell.

Question 4

What does a luxury destination wedding in Udaipur cost?

Accepted Answer

Every celebration is different. Investment depends primarily on the hotel, the number of rooms and nights, guest count, décor and production, entertainment, hospitality and the number of functions. During our initial consultation we create an indicative budget framework before any venue or vendor commitments are made, so you always plan with clarity.

Question 5

Which five-star Udaipur hotels do you plan weddings at?

Accepted Answer

We plan weddings across all of Udaipur's finest addresses — Taj Lake Palace, The Oberoi Udaivilas, The Leela Palace, Raffles Udaipur, Fairmont Udaipur Palace, Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Trident Udaipur and Mementos by ITC — matching the right venue to your guest count, style and budget.

Question 6

How much does a destination wedding in Udaipur cost?

Accepted Answer

A destination wedding in Udaipur typically ranges from about ₹25–40 lakh for an intimate celebration to ₹1 crore and above for a large luxury palace wedding. The final cost depends on your chosen venue, guest count, number of events, decor scale, catering and hospitality. Event Gurus builds transparent, customised packages for every budget.

Question 7

How much does it cost to book a palace venue in Rajasthan?

Accepted Answer

Booking a palace venue in Rajasthan for a wedding can cost between INR 20 lakhs to INR 1 crore. The price varies based on the palace's stature and location, such as the City Palace in Udaipur or Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Costs typically include venue hire, basic decor, and catering, but can increase with additional services like lighting and entertainment. Peak season from November to March might incur higher prices due to demand.

Question 8

How many days should a destination wedding in Udaipur last?

Accepted Answer

A destination wedding in Udaipur typically lasts 3 to 4 days. This duration allows couples to host multiple events like a welcome dinner, mehendi, sangeet, wedding ceremony, and a farewell brunch. Venues such as the City Palace or Jagmandir Island often have packages that accommodate this schedule, ensuring a seamless experience. Planning for a few extra days can also help guests explore Udaipur’s attractions, like Lake Pichola and the historic palaces, enhancing the overall experience.

Question 9

What is the average guest count for Udaipur weddings?

Accepted Answer

The average guest count for Udaipur weddings ranges from 150 to 300 people. Udaipur's luxurious venues, like The Oberoi Udaivilas and City Palace, are well-suited for medium to large gatherings, offering stunning backdrops for destination weddings. The guest count can vary depending on the venue's capacity and the couple's preferences, with some opting for more intimate celebrations and others hosting grand affairs.

Question 10

What is the best time for a destination wedding in Udaipur?

Accepted Answer

The best time for a wedding in Udaipur is between October and March, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for outdoor palace and lakeside celebrations. Peak season is November to February. Monsoon (July–September) offers lush green backdrops and better venue rates for couples wanting a monsoon-palace theme.

Question 11

Which are the best wedding venues in Udaipur?

Accepted Answer

Udaipur's most sought-after wedding venues include The Oberoi Udaivilas, The Leela Palace Udaipur, Taj Lake Palace, Raffles Udaipur, Fairmont Udaipur Palace, Jagmandir Island Palace and The Zana Mahal. Event Gurus helps you shortlist the perfect venue based on your guest count, budget and wedding vision.

Question 12

Can you plan a destination wedding on a budget?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Budget destination weddings in Udaipur are absolutely possible with the right planning. We recommend off-peak dates, boutique heritage hotels and resorts instead of ultra-luxury palaces, curated guest lists and smart event clubbing. Event Gurus designs affordable packages without compromising the royal Udaipur experience.

Question 13

How far in advance should we book our Udaipur wedding?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking 8–12 months in advance for peak-season (Nov–Feb) palace weddings, as the best venues and vendors get reserved early. For off-season dates, 4–6 months is usually sufficient. The earlier you start, the more choice you have over venues, dates and pricing.
